A Proven Engineering Process
For many amateur web design firms, web design is an art. At DMS, it's a science! We define the whole process into 4 key phases:
Phase 1: Analysis which includes:
a) Gathering Customer’s requirement specifications
b) Analyze Customer’s requirement specifications and advise
c) Study & confirm technical feasibility
d) Draft a blueprint for the website project
e) Draft a work plan for the website project
f) Draft a cost service proposal for the website
The results of what was completed in Phase 1 will be put into a technical blueprint for the entire project.
Phase 2: Design which includes:
g) Gathering Customer’s design requirement specifications
h) Analyze Customer’s design requirement specifications and advise
i) Study & confirm technical feasibilities for the design phase
j) Draft a logic flowchart, user flowchart and system flowchart
k) Create graphics and assembly layout
l) Review & update design
The results of what was completed in Phase 2 will be put into a design blueprint to produce a complete static website without CMS, Content Management System integration.
Phase 3: Coding which includes:
m) Study & confirm technical feasibilities for the system
n) Role play & test logic flowchart, user flowchart and system flowchart
o) Design necessary databases
p) Build system modules
q) Code system modules
r) Unit integration modules
s) System integration of all modules
t) Testing & Updates
The results of Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be coded to produce a complete dynamic website with the CMS, Content Management System integration.
Phase 4: Testing & Updates which includes:
u) User Testing
v) Admin Testing
w) Customer Testing
x) Browser Testing
y) Bandwidth Testing
z) Security Testing
aa) Updates
Taking what has been done in Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 and put them through rigorous testing and updating to produce a functional and error free website. |
